Today we attended the Sam Houston District FFA Convention in Crockett. Addison Hamilton won Star Greenhand in Production and will advance to Area next week! We are so proud of her. Our voting delegates elected a new district officer team and two area officers.

Centerville FFA hosted a Go Texan Day for Centerville Elementary Kindergarten students. Our friends participated in hands-on activity stations including hammering nails in the shop, planting tomato seeds to take home, cutting flowers stems and floral foam, roping a calf (dummy), meeting a live bunny, trying in an FFA jacket, and even got a demonstration of the CNC plasma table.

The Centerville FFA Ag Mech team had another great show at the I-45 Ag Mechanics Showdown. All projects received blue ribbons.

Cooper Metcalf, Kutter Rodell, and Jayden Lewallen were 4th in their class with their bumper pull hay van.
Gavin van Reenen was 2nd in class with his grapple hook.

Ready to enter your Commercial Heifers, Steers, and Halter Heifers? Registration is now live on FairEntry!

Please complete your entry by Sunday, November 9th, the day before validations, so we have an idea of how many entries to expect and can print reports for the Superintendents on the day of the event.

💻 Pro tip: It's easier to complete registration on a computer! While mobile is an option, navigating some sections is smoother on a computer.

Fees for 2026:
Each exhibitor needs an entry in FairEntry for the minimal amounts below...
Commercial Heifers: $50 (first 2 head)
Steers: $25
Halter Heifers: $25
Each additional head: $25

If you're Family Validating, you can register all additional head under one exhibitor or split them between family members.
