Central Point Public Works The goal is to provide superior service to our community and enhance the quality of life.

The City of Central Point Public Works Department goal is to coordinate with other departments and agencies to provide superior service to our community and enhance the quality of life in Central Point by professionally managing the City’s water, storm water, parks, and transportation systems. The Public Works Department consists of six divisions:

Transportation/Streets - Water - Stormwater - Administration - GIS (Geographic Information Systems) - Facilities Maintenance

PARKING LOT CLOSURE NOTICE
The parking lot on the corner of N 2nd St and Manzanita St will be receiving some much-needed landscaping improvements. To complete this work, the parking lot will be closed during the following times:
Monday, April 20th 7 am - Noon
Tuesday, April 21st 7 am - Noon
Saturday, April 25th 7 am - 5 pm

We appreciate your patience as we make these upgrades.

Park update!

Our playground slides at Don Jones Park have decided to take a little unscheduled break and are currently out of order. Even slides need a rest day sometimes, right? 😄

Our team is already working on repairs and we’ll let you know as soon as they’re ready for sliding fun again. In the meantime, the rest of the playground is still open and ready for adventure!
