Changed Choices provides comprehensive case management and spiritual support to women impacted by incarceration from arrest to reentry - making sure they have the tools and support they need to build new lives of freedom from the inside out. Changed Choices works with female jail and prison inmates providing a range of counseling and support services, including:

-personal visits,
-Pen Pals,
-ch

aplain services,
-material assistance,
-family support,
-and more. Women who continue as clients of Changed Choices throughout their incarceration and who demonstrate a high capacity for complete rehabilitation, may be offered additional services upon release, including:

-transitional support,
-job-search tools and referrals,
-housing assistance,
-life-skills education,
-and more.

What are you most proud of?
At our annual Graduation Celebration last week, we honored 51 incredible women for milestones like degrees, certifications, promotions, leadership roles, and new jobs.

But when we asked each woman what she was most proud of, the answers weren't about achievements.

They were about transformation.
💙 Rebuilding relationships.
💚 Learning patience.
💙 Choosing forgiveness.
💚 Helping others succeed.
💙 Becoming someone they never thought they could be.

What is re-entry really like?

Imagine trying to find housing, secure employment, obtain an ID, keep appointments, meet supervision requirements, and navigate transportation—all in the first weeks after release from incarceration.

On August 20, you'll have the opportunity to experience those challenges firsthand through an immersive Re-Entry Simulation hosted by Changed Choices in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction.

The goal isn't simply to learn information. It's to build understanding. Because the better we understand the barriers women face, the better we can walk alongside them with compassion, dignity, and hope.
