We didn't post a construction update for a week, so they built a roundabout?!

No, not really. We were busy with KeeCon, so things sorta slipped our mind. In all seriousness though there was a pretty significant leak behind the windows which is being addressed this week, which could have been a big mess had it been ignored for any longer. We will keep y'all posted on updates like this. And no, no roundabouts in the library. 😂

Thanks ever so much to Betty Resch for her kind donation to the library, enabling Miss Missi to not only purchase some new books for her dept but to also utilize the book fair at the school, which helps their library as well!

We're over the moon to learn that Kee Con raised $1000 for the Friends of the Library over the weekend! Many thanks to the wonderful volunteers who manned events over the weekend, the generous donations from many different organization, and to all those who attended and donated towards the event knowing that it would support the library. We can't wait to see you all next year and watch Kee Con continue to grow! Here's to year 10 and beyond!

Thank you to the Cherokee Friends of the Library for all they do to support the library! Without their support, programs like our annual summer learning program, many of our large print books, and other special projects around the library would simply not be possible. You can connect with them during their Chamber Coffee on Friday, November 13th at 9:30 AM.

We were fortunate to join the KTIV crew to talk about Kee Con happening this weekend!

The Cherokee Community Center is hosting the event Oct. 23-25.

We will be heading up ourselves to get some books for the youth department and to support our colleagues at the school library! 🤓📚

Book Fair is still here and will be going through Friday October 23rd. We received a restock today, so don't wait, get the goodies while we have them!!

We got a lift in this week, so Tyler has been annoying the staff with Creed. Upper wallpaper and trim have been removed! ⛰️🙌

The bark pit is also completely removed. Please remember to call us ahead and we will meet you in the alley with materials.

Here's your weekly peek at the progress! It's been extremely loud and dusty with all of the concrete cutting, but there's been good progress! We (and the crew) appreciate everyone using the alley for service and not following the crew into the library.

Just a continued reminder that staff do not have access to the front door for service. We will bring items out to you in the alley through demolition.
