We are honored and grateful for the support of the Resilient Chicago Fund and The Chicago Community Trust as we work to prevent and end homelessness.

Today, the Resilient Chicago Fund (RCF) announced $5.5 million in grants to 17 nonprofit-led projects strengthening the Chicago region's safety net. These grants back teams testing better ways to deliver essential services—so residents across Chicago and Cook County can stay connected to food, housing, healthcare, and safety services.

"Philanthropy can move quickly, take smart risks, and stand alongside nonprofits and government to help good ideas take root," said Trust President & CEO Andrea Sáenz.

“We can do better for those who rely on benefits and those who deliver them. Through these grants, we hope to design new models for long-term solutions," said RCF Executive Director Daniel Tollefson.

A pooled fund housed at The Chicago Community Trust and co-chaired by the MacArthur Foundation, RCF is backed by a coalition of philanthropic partners committed to moving beyond crisis response toward lasting solutions.
