Care for Real’s donation drop-off schedule has changed slightly: we now accept donations between 1-3pm Monday through Saturday. Swipe for donation tips and keep reading for more information about donating!
Our parking lot is not available for donations unless specifically arranged beforehand. Please park in the loading zone on Broadway with your hazards on, enter through the gate, and place donations in the self-service donation bins inside the vestibule. We cannot accept donations that have been left outside. Although Care for Real may be open at other times for pantry services or volunteer activities, donations are accepted only during the hours listed or by appointment due to limited staff and volunteer capacity.
If you're planning to drop off more than 3 large boxes or bags, or if you will need assistance with your drop-off, please call 773-769-6182 ext. 120 or email [email protected] in advance so our team can confirm that we can accept your items and arrange a time to help. This includes large donations or drop-offs requiring carts or parking lot access.
Please note that we only accept in-season clothing (except winter coats we accept year-round), unopened personal care and baby items, unopened dog and cat food, and unopened/unexpired food items, reusable bags, and grocery carts.
