🌊 Bass Island improvements are taking shape!

We’re nearing completion on upgrades to Bass Island River Access, including an accessible boardwalk, expanded parking, and easier access for paddlers. These improvements will make visits more convenient while helping protect the riverbank and surrounding habitat. 💚

Thanks to everyone who’s supported this project! We can’t wait to welcome you back! Bass Island remains closed during construction, with completion planned for winter 2027.

We’re lucky to share the parks with our nighttime neighbors! We love them so much that we even built a space for a colony of Big Brown bats at Shaker Trace Nursery!

This weekend was jam packed with a little bit of everything as we celebrate the fall season 🎃🍂
