May We Help Engineering Inabilities into Capabilities At May We Help, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a full and independent life.

That's why we provide free, custom solutions for individuals with disabilities. Our team of talented volunteers, including engineers, designers, inventors, and artisans, works together to create unique devices that address specific needs and challenges. From adaptive equipment to assistive technologies, we strive to empower individuals with disabilities to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. In addition to the custom solutions, we also offer a variety of adaptive equipment, including walkers, wheelchairs, gait trainers, standers, and more. Equipment events are held several times a month on Tuesdays and Sundays. A full schedule is available on our website: https://maywehelp.org/adaptive-equipment-swap/

May We Help also offers programs to children in the disabled community. Our annual Halloween party, held in October, is a great event featuring costumes made by our volunteers to incorporate the child's wheelchair into the costume. At Christmas time, we host a satellite workshop for Santa with a toy box full of switch-adapted toys. The event offers sweet treats and a visit with Santa. The best part of May We Help is that all of our solutions, equipment, and programming are supported by generous donors who help us offer everything we do free of cost to the recipient. If you have a power chair you are no longer using, please reach out to Marvin Spradling at 513-965-1924.

At May We Help, we know that meaningful change doesn't happen alone. It's built by people who believe in using their skills to make life better for others. To every volunteer who showed up, shared an idea or helped bring a solution to life this year: thank you. We couldn't do this without you.

Our volunteers have shared their time, talents and creativity to design and build solutions that help individuals with disabilities overcome challenges and do more of what they love. From engineers and designers to welders, woodworkers and healthcare professionals, each person has played a part in making our mission possible.

Join us next Tuesday for our final equipment event in October!

Physical therapists will be available to assess your needs and help you find the right fit, while modification experts can make on-site adjustments when possible. More extensive modifications may require a follow-up pick-up appointment. We currently have several patient lifts and Easy Stands available.

All equipment is pre-owned and provided FREE of charge.

Stop by anytime during the open-house event! After checking in, you'll meet with a volunteer physical therapist to discuss your needs and explore the available equipment options.

Solution Update! 💙 Sometimes a piece of equipment just needs a little love and adjustment. This chair needed a handful of modifications to make it perfect for it's new owner. May We Help Volunteer, Greg, stepped in and completed the list. The chair is now in it’s new home improving the mobility for another satisfied recipient!
