Clinton Human Services

Clinton Human Services To maximize the quality of life in our community by providing intervention and prevention programs for Clinton youth and families.

The Clinton Youth & Family Service Bureau was started in 1987 through the dedicated volunteer efforts of town Clinton youth and family services building residents and key school personnel. The initial town funding for the Bureau began in 1989, allowing for the hiring of a part-time coordinator. Today the Bureau’s staff consists of a full-time Director, Clinician, Program Coordinator, Prevention Sp

ecialist and a part-time Office Administrator. The majority of the Bureau’s funding comes from the town. Town funding, combined with state and federal grants, have allowed for the Bureau’s expansion of programming and staff. Partial funding is also provided by the State Department of Education and the Office of Policy and Management.

Hosting a party this season? Make sure you know the law before guests arrive. In Connecticut, adults can face serious legal consequences for allowing underage drinking in their home — even if they didn’t provide the alcohol.

Knowing the Connecticut Social Host Laws helps keep teens, families, and our community safer. Please take a moment to review and share this important information. 🏠⚖️
