Thank you to Rock for CHOICES Columbus for putting on an amazing concert that has already raised more than $17,000 (and still counting) to benefit our shelter! We are blown away by your efforts, talents and dedication to the fight against domestic violence! We are also grateful to all who came out and for Marysville Moose Lodge for hosting and also supporting our shelter!

💜 Yesterday was for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. As we gathered for staff meetings, a few of our team members wore purple to show support for survivors.

Purple stands for hope and a reminder that no one should face domestic violence alone. We stand with survivors every day, not just in October.

Thank you, Councilmember Tiara Ross, for hosting last night's hearing on domestic violence and housing protections for survivors. Our Executive Director Bridget DeCrane was proud to speak and stand with the community leaders who showed up and shared.

No one should have to choose between safety and a place to live. There's more work to do, and we'll do it together.

For Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Citi Women's Network invited our team to teach their members the signs of domestic violence and where to find local help. The group is also collecting supplies for shelter care kits for survivors. We appreciate their partnership!

We were proud to participate in Voice of Change: A Community Kickoff! at the Fran Ryan Center, joining National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Central Ohio Chapter, Columbus Office of Violence Prevention, 100 Black Men of Central Ohio, Inc. and Ohio Domestic Violence Network for an important community conversation about awareness, education, resources and supporting survivors of domestic violence.
