We loved welcoming the team from First Merchants Bank to The Salvation Army Learning Center earlier this week! Our students enjoyed a special story time as volunteers spent time reading with them, sharing encouragement, and helping make summer camp even more memorable. A love of reading helps build confidence, sparks imagination, and supports lifelong learning.

Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and dream big.

At The Salvation Army Learning Centers, children find more than a place to go after school and during the summer. They find caring mentors, healthy meals, new friendships, and a safe place to build confidence and discover what they're capable of.

Last year, 92% of participating students improved their math scores and 93% improved their reading scores. For families, the impact goes beyond academics. It means peace of mind knowing their children are safe, supported, and encouraged every day.

As we expand our Learning Centers across Central Ohio, every act of generosity helps create more opportunities for children to thrive.

A little help can make a big difference when a family is struggling to put food on the table.

Last year, The Salvation Army in Central Ohio provided 472,403 meals and served 47,849 individuals through food pantries. Our pantries emphasize dignity and choice, allowing neighbors to select the foods that best meet their family's needs.
