Craft has long been more than creativity; it has been a tool for protest, resistance, storytelling, and community. 🧵✨

Join us for a hands-on craft session and conversation exploring the history of traditionally female crafts and their role in social movements, while learning more about The Matriots Education Fund.

You’ll learn a few simple embroidery stitches and create your own Matriots sew-on patch to take home! No experience needed.

That’s why we’re excited for Bloom & Buzz, a meaningful day of service in partnership with Toledo GROWs, an urban farm supporting more than 110 community gardens across the region while teaching hands-on skills in growing and preparing nutritious food. 🌻

Join us on June 6th from 10 AM–12 PM to roll up your sleeves for a volunteer project, then stay for lunch and thoughtful conversation with an inspiring community committed to making a difference. 🐝
