Three stops. One Saturday. Pick your leg.
On September 26, Ohio Young Republicans are running the YR Parlay, and every chapter in the state has a way to be part of it.
9:30 AM. Simultaneous door launches in Cuyahoga, Athens, Franklin, Montgomery and Lucas counties. Five counties, one start time. Locations provided after RSVP.
2:00 PM. The Ohio Freedom Rally in Plain City, with the statewide ticket and OYR Chairman Jacob Sargent. Bring a chair.
7:00 PM. Lineup for the Jackson Apple Fest Parade in downtown Jackson.
Why all three in one day? Because that's what a statewide party looks like. Doors get knocked in five media markets before lunch. Our candidates hear from young conservatives in the afternoon. And by evening we are the biggest, loudest, best organized group on a parade route in southern Ohio, walking past tens of thousands of voters who will see exactly which side showed up.
That last part matters more than usual this year. The other side will be walking that route too. Every parade has a moment where one side is louder and better organized than the other, and the folks on the curb remember which one it was. Let's make sure it's ours.
You don't have to do all of it. You just have to do some of it.
