๐โ๐ฆบ๐ K9 Apprehension Success ๐๐โ๐ฆบ
On May 31, 2026, at approximately 3:58 a.m., Officer White and K9 Fury, along with Officer Blanscett, responded to the 8400 block of Greenham to assist the Bexar County Sheriff's Office in locating a suspect wanted for aggravated assault.
After an extensive search, K9 Fury successfully tracked and led officers to the suspect, who had fled over a fence and concealed himself in the backyard of a nearby residence. Thanks to the team's persistence, training, and teamwork, the suspect was located, surrendered without incident, and was safely taken into custody.
This apprehension is particularly noteworthy as Officer White and K9 Fury have been deployed as a team for only three months. Despite being early in their K9 careers, this marks their second criminal apprehension this week, a remarkable achievement that reflects their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to protecting our community.
๐ We are proud of the outstanding work demonstrated by Officer White, K9 Fury, and Officer Blanscett. Their efforts exemplify the value of well-trained K9 teams and the positive impact they have on public safety every day.
