From Chief Saucedo:

Today's workout was a virtual fundraiser for the FBI National Academy Associates Charitable Foundation. A great cause and my effort reminds me of the 6.2 mile Yellow Brick Road run I completed while I attended the 271st Session of the National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Hi men and women in blue. Have a blessed week.
Copied this from somebody on next door. As a resident here, as an active duty military member. I would like as explaination. Very interesting. Converse Police Department. I know most people don’t keep count because they have lives and it’s not their job. But just for your information we have roughly lost 9 police officers and we are going to loose more. Maybe most people don’t realize but the police chief does NOT back up the officers that he is supposed to be there for. The department is very much uncomfortable for most officers to work. If you see an officer while your out and about today tell him or her thank you! Show your support! If your comfortable - with this heat buy them a water. They do not get to enjoy the air conditioning with all the equipment they are required to wear. Just make them aware you support them in any way you can!
Just spoke with a nice Lady at Converse Animal Care. She wanted to pass the word from Bryce Wisdoms Family that they have NOT authorized any merchandise to be sold in Bryce’s name/memory. They are receiving nothing from these T-shirt etc. sales. People out here are trying to line their own pockets. Please Don’t Buy Anything Not Listed on The Families Website. It’s a sad world we are living in. If you want to help the family, go to their sites.
Question? Their used to be a speed limit sign on Topperwein, going toward Kitty Hawk right where the new Fire Station is that stated 35 mph. Now the sign is gone, and the only sign shows 30 mph before the station, my question is does the speed stay 30 mph, or does it still change to 35 at the station? Lunch is riding on the answer. I say it changes to 35 but my counterpart says it stays 30 until the sign at the top of the hill.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Converse PD, for your prayers, love and support for my family in my cousin, Rex’s untimely passing. Thank you for your dedication, sacrifice and bravery in protecting Rex and the Converse community over the years - you all are so loved and appreciated. God bless you. ❤️

Any update on the shooting on Meadow Gate last night?
Possible to report a credit card abuse that occurred in your city over the phone? I don't live there.
Interested in signing up for Blue Santa foe NY daughter. Can you tell me your process?
From CNN's Good Stuff emailed newsletter: No one likes to pay parking tickets. Well, statistically someone must, but that person is deeply disturbed and probably needs a hug. However, ponying up might not be so bad for Las Vegas residents this month: The city is accepting food donations in lieu of cash for citations issued between October 16 and November 16. The Las Vegas city council says the donations will be given to Helping Hands of Vegas Valley, a nonprofit that assists low income and disabled senior citizens, to bolster their efforts around the upcoming holidays. This isn't the first time Las Vegas has offered a helpful payment alternative for naughty parkers. In July, the city accepted donations of school supplies instead.
Can you give an update on the drive by shooting on Janice today?
Great job Converse Police Department! Thank you for the proactive approach to crime.
