This afternoon Converse Fire Department was dispatched to a working structure fire. Crews arrived to heavy fire extending from the rear of the home up to the second floor. Crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire saving the interior of the home including all valuables. We are happy to report there were no injuries to the occupants or firefighters and a small lizard was saved!
Great job B-Shift and thanks to all our local mutual aid departments for their assistance!

Well would you look at that. Back from fire academy and all grins! FF Jensen is on her second tour on the engine and getting all the reps in and practicing her new craft. An excellent paramedic and soon to be an excellent firefighter!! We’re stoked we get to help her learn and grow and see her succeed!
