A little MPE Dolly Day made it all the way to FOX 4 News Dallas Fort Worth ! 💗📚✨

A huge thank you to FOX 4 News Dallas Fort Worth and Lauren Przybyl for having us on and giving us the opportunity to share why Dolly Day meant so much to our MPE community.

What started as a day to celebrate Dolly’s incredible life and legacy became something even bigger—a reminder to our kids that making your mark can be as simple as choosing kindness, lifting others up and giving back.

And now we’re keeping it going. 💕 Our next mission is to collect 500 books = 500 reading opportunities, so every student at Merriman Park can choose a book of their very own to take home on Dolly’s birthday in January. 📚

Dolly made her mark through kindness, generosity and a lifelong love of reading. We hope this is one small way we can continue that legacy right here at MPE.

Thank you, Lauren and FOX 4, for helping us share the story—and hopefully inspiring even more people to help us spread a little Dolly magic, one book at a time. ✨📖

💗📚 From Dolly Day to our next BIG mark…

We’re still buzzing after seeing MPE Dolly Day on the news! ✨🤠 Now we’re keeping Dolly’s spirit of kindness and giving going with our next mission: BOOKS!

Our goal: 500 books = 500 reading opportunities for MPE students. 📚 Every student will get to choose a book to take home at our January 19 Book Bazaar!
