Our Seasonal Park Hygeia Reservoir located on Valley Road will Open as advertised this Sunday June 21st. Hours are Sunrise to Sunset! Thank you to our Parks Crew and Hwy Dept for getting things wrapped up just in time for the hotter weather.

Hygeia will be open 7 days a week until Labor Day Weekend. Hygeia seasonal park was re-opened as a swim at own risk facility per Town for residents and non-residents (guest) since 2016.

We kindly ask that residents and out of town guest respect the rules posted at Hygeia (these rules are posted in the photo) so that everyone may enjoy this seasonal park!

Hygeia has two changing areas provided for your convenience along with a port a potty.
Please utilize the trash cans if you are unable to carry out your own trash. It’s helpful not to leave food type items which attract animals. If you have any questions please call KPRD at 860-779-5390

Please see the map below regarding the exits once the Red, White and Blue Fireworks have concluded. Any questions regarding the Red, White and Blue Fireworks, please contact the Killingly Parks and Recreation at 860-779-5390.

The Upper Parking Lot of Owen Bell will be closed off to any parking for the entire day of Friday June 26th.
The space designated for handicap parking in the map of the upper lot will be not become available until 3:00pm on the 26th!
Killingly Police & State Police will be assisting with handicap parking, and pedestrian traffic from guest parking at the Killingly commons. KPRD support staff will handle vendor access

There are 6 spots remaining for our Killingly Youth Hoop Summer Clinic "Blaze the Court"

The clinic starts Monday 6/22, so lock in your spot before it is too late!

This clinic is directed by long time Killingly High School Basketball Coach Scott Derosier who is phenomenal with the youth in our community. There will be KHS basketball players and staff helping out all week to make sure your children have the best time. All skill levels are welcome!
