We here at Adams Public Library System mourn the loss of Dolly Parton, and we wish to offer our sincerest condolences to her family and loved ones.

Dolly Parton was a world-renowned singer-songwriter, actress, and book-lover. The Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program began in 1995, inspired by her own father's journey with literacy and book access. To date, the program has delivered more than 3 million books to children around the world.

Her family has requested donations to Imagination Library in lieu of flowers. If you would like to make a donation to your local program, you can make a donation through the Imagination Library website (https://imaginationlibrary.com/), or directly to our fiscal partner, the United Way of Adams County Indiana (www.unitedwayofadamscounty.com or by mailing your donation to 218 E Monroe St, Decatur, IN, United States, 46733)
