🌟 What a night! Thank you to everyone who came out for National Night Out! 🌟

We had an amazing time connecting with our community, meeting new faces, and enjoying an evening full of laughter, fun, and great conversations. From kids playing games and enjoying activities to neighbors catching up with each other and spending time with our officers, it was a night to remember.

Events like this remind us how special our community is and how important it is to build strong relationships between our residents and law enforcement.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the night a success, and to all who came out to support this great tradition. We can’t wait to see you again next year!

Thank you to everyone who attended today’s car seat clinic! We were able to assist numerous families with car seat checks, installations, and safety education to help keep children safe on the road.

A special thank you to our partnering agencies, South Lake Minnetonka Police Department, Minnetonka Police Department & Children's Minnesota who volunteered their time and expertise to make this event a success. Community partnerships like these help ensure families have the resources and knowledge they need to travel safely.

We appreciate the opportunity to serve our community and look forward to hosting more safety events in the future!

There will be a statewide tornado drill on Thursday, April 16th.

How can you participate? Prepare your family!

* Create or update emergency plans with your entire family so everyone knows what to do in an emergency. Ensure everyone has up-to-date contact info and knows what to do.
* Practice your family plan during the tornado drills. Have everyone build a family emergency kit together.
* Check with places your family spends time, such as schools, workplaces, churches, markets, or sports facilities, to learn their emergency plans.
* Share the plans for these areas with your entire family and talk about what you would do if your family was not together during a disaster.

The Deephaven Police Department is now hiring a Seasonal Community Service Officer (CSO) for the 2026 summer season!

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing a career in law enforcement to gain hands-on experience while continuing their education. As a CSO, you will work alongside sworn officers, assist with a variety of non-emergency duties, and gain valuable insight into daily police operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist officers with non-emergency calls and administrative tasks
* Provide traffic control and parking enforcement
* Support community events and outreach efforts
* Complete reports and documentation as needed
* Perform other duties as assigned

This position is ideal for students looking to build experience and take the first step toward a career in law enforcement.
