The Delaware City Library is an independent public library in the New Castle County Library System and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to create and promote educational, recreational, and cultural enrichment, and provide community members of all ages with free access to the resources and tools they need to thrive in the 21st century. We have 3 meeting rooms and 9 computers avail

able for public use, as well as a collection of over 24,000 circulating items and lots of programs for all ages!

Delaware City residents, business owners, property owners and investors, this workshop is for you!

Join us Wednesday, September 16th from 6:00–8:00 PM at the Delaware City Fire Hall to learn more about opportunities, programs and resources available right here in Delaware City.

Representatives will be available to share information about the Downtown Development District, small business resources, grants and funding opportunities, historic preservation programs and incentives, and other resources available to residents, businesses and developers.

Whether you own a home or business, are considering improvements to your property, looking to invest in Delaware City, or simply want to learn more about the programs available, we encourage you to attend!

Tomorrow, Thursday, September 3, is going to be a scorcher! The Delaware City Library will have FREE COLD WATER - courtesy of the Delaware City Refining Company - available during our opening hours of 12 PM - 8 PM. Water must be kept in the cafeteria area.
