💡 Denver families have ideas for making childcare easier to navigate, more affordable, and more responsive to their needs.

Thank you to everyone who joined us Saturday at Hiawatha Davis Jr. Recreation Center and shared their experiences, challenges, and ideas about childcare in Denver.

During our conversations, we heard about:
🔗 Making childcare resources and applications easier to find and navigate
💜 Affordability for families and sustainable wages for providers and teachers
📋 Concerns about the CCAP freeze and the need for expanded support
🤝 Creating stronger connections across childcare systems and resources
🕐 Expanding non-traditional care options to better meet families’ schedules and needs

Al pensar en el futuro del cuidado infantil, es importante que los cuidadores FFN y las familias que dependen de ellos sean parte de la conversación. 💛

Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) caregivers provide loving, trusted, and essential care for children and families every day. As we think about the future of childcare, it is important that FFN caregivers and the families who rely on them are part of the conversation. 💛

🗣️ Another Childcare for All community meeting, another opportunity to hear directly from Denver communities!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Blossom House Early Learning Center and shared their experiences, challenges, and ideas about childcare in Denver!

A special thank you to Lifespan Local for welcoming us into the Blossom House space and helping make this community conversation possible. 💜

We heard conversations about childcare affordability, making it easier for families to find and navigate care, the importance of having a range of care options, public-private partnerships, training opportunities, childcare regulations, and coordination across Denver’s childcare system.

There are only two Childcare for All community meetings left, and we still want to hear from you!

Ya sea que una madre o un padre trabaje hasta tarde, tenga un turno de noche o necesite cuidado cuando la escuela está cerrada, los cuidadores que son familiares, amigos y vecinos (FFN) pueden brindar el cuidado constante y de confianza que las familias necesitan. 💛
