Our team is thrilled to welcome Eric Bougard home after 37 years inside! This morning, Eric reunited with his family and friends, having originally been sentenced to life without parole as a juvenile nearly four decades ago. His loyal SADO team, attorney Erin Bartels and reentry specialist Marcus Williams, were there to cheer him on as he begins the next chapter of his life in the community. Welcome home, Eric!

Filet mignon and lobster after 47 years of incarceration. Now that’s a first meal! Today, SADO attorney Alison Swain and reentry supervisor Anna Kohn had a wonderful time welcoming David Chapple home after Alison got him resentenced in Wayne County. Now he’s off to a joyful new life on the west side of the state thanks to our amazing community reentry partners. Another day worth celebrating for the SADO team.
