ATTENTION: The City of Devils Lake, as required by the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act, recently completed their 2025 Drinking Water Consumer Confidence Report. This report gives an annual overview of the City's drinking water and provides an opportunity to share information on the quality of water the City provides as well as the source of our water and our treatment facilities and processes. It is the City's goal to provide users with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water.

ATTENTION: Summer construction season is kicking off in Devils Lake with the completion of the NDDOT's Hwy 20 & Hwy 19 Microsurfacing, Signal Improvements and Road Diet Project that began last year. Crews are planning to be in town this week to begin the permanent pavement markings. Expect some minor delays as crews will be grinding the pavement prior to placing the new markings throughout the College Dr and Hwy 19 areas. Please slow down, drive with caution and give the crews space to complete the work safely and effectively. Progress updates will be provided as they become available and if there are any questions, contact the NDDOT - Devils Lake Office.

Below you will find a map with the remaining City projects scheduled for the 2026 Construction Season. Both of the remaining projects have been awarded to R.J. Zavoral and Sons and are expected to begin later in the summer. Project schedule updates will be provided as they become available. ATTENTION: A private contractor is working on a sewer service line along 6th St NE between 8th Ave NE and 10th Ave NE. This work requires excavation in the middle of the roadway. To provide a safe work zone, this two block section of 6th St NE will be closed to through traffic while the work is being completed. Crews expect to have the work completed yet today.

REMINDER: All sump pumps must discharge outside and not directly into the sanitary sewer system. This will help to take some pressure off the sanitary sewer system, reducing any unnecessary stress. Place sump pump hoses so they can discharge into the street gutter, however, do not place hoses across City sidewalks.
