Midway Fire and EMS responded with EGP, Roswell Fire, AMR, CCSO and NMSP to an accident with injuries at 285 South and Orchard Park. One patient was transported in serious condition to ENMMC ER by AMR and RFD.

Midway Fire and EMS joined most of the other volunteer fire departments from Chaves County for BNSF Hazmat Training. Not only was it terrific training, but it was great to work with so many of our mutual aid partners. Joining Midway were Sierra Fire, East Grand Plains Fire, Berrendo Fire, Dexter Fire, Hagerman Fire, Roswell Police Department and New Mexico State Police.

Midway Fire and EMS responded to a dairy on East Darby for a tractor fire. Units arrived on scene to find a fully involved tractor fire adjacent to the feed storage barns. The large feed pile began burning just as water got to the nozzle and was extinguished. The tractor was extinguished and the area was overhauled. CCSO also responded and the deputy assisted fire fighters during the initial attack.
