Good Morning TNT Neighbors! We are painting a new building mural in TNT this week (New England Ave-Talbot Ave). The theme "All That Is Good" is a reflection on the Garden of Eden and God's goodness in our community. We need extra help Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon. No painting experience is needed. Let me know if you want to join in the FUN!

Here in TNT is where we can find All That Is Good!

We hope to add to the story of our murals and to the story of our community. In order to create and paint the vision neighbors have for this mural, we must raise $7,500. Donate at the link below. Please like, share, and repost to make this mural happen!

When we rewrite the narrative of our community, we have to tell the truth of our story. Coming out on Monday, find out our community's story told through our murals. As we plan for a new mural to be added, we need your help to make it happen. Donate at the link below.

BPD Community Alert: The Boston Police Department Warns Residents of Fraudulent Phone Calls from Scammers Claiming Kidnapping of Minors
February 17, 2022BPD Community Alert: The Boston Police Department is currently investigating two recent incidents involving scammers calling local parents alleging that their children had been kidnapped while demanding money for their safe return. In both instances, thankfully, the children were never actually at risk, although one parent did reluctantly turn over several thousand dollars through various withdrawals and digital transactions to the unidentified suspects involved. Both of these incidents remain under investigation by BPD Detectives. Anyone who receives such a call should contact the Boston Police Department. If you believe you have been the target of such a call, please note the phone number where the call originated and file a report with the Boston Police Department if it is deemed appropriate. In addition to filing a report with the Boston Police Department, victims are also encouraged to report any Phone/Internet Fraud Scams to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Please call the FTC at 1(877) FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357) or TTY 1-866-653-4261 or visit their website at: www.consumer.ftc.gov/scam-alerts

Dear friend,

We're planning for the protection and expansion of Boston's urban forest through Boston's first ever Urban Forest Plan. The urban forest stretches across the city and grows across both private and public property. This project is really going A to Z on all things forest - policy, funding, workforce development, design, climate resilience, and more. The development of an Urban Forest Plan will help the City deliver a thriving, collaboratively sustained urban forest. What would you like to see? What would success look like? If we don't know about it, we can't act on it, so please share your input with us!

We’ll be holding a virtual meeting featuring a presentation by our designers with a question and answer session afterward. We would appreciate any help you can offer in getting the word out!

Urban Forest Plan Virtual Open House

Date: Monday March 14th

Time: 6:00p

Join the meeting: bit.ly/Urbanforestplan

Please see the flyer attached in all 11 top city languages.
