Dover YMCA Open to the Community Following Severe Weather

In the wake of last night’s tornado and severe weather in the Dover area, the Dover YMCA is opening its doors at our main branch to community members who may be without power or need a safe place to recharge.

You do not need to be a YMCA member to come in. Community members are welcome to:

⚡ Charge phones and other devices
🚿 Take a hot shower
📶 Access Wi-Fi
🏠 Spend time in a safe, comfortable space

All visitors must show a valid photo ID upon arrival.

If you or someone you know has been impacted by the storm, please know that the Dover YMCA is here for you.

If your child has earned free books through the Summer Reading Challenge, you have until August 31 to stop by and pick them up. Winners of our prize drawings will be contacted later this week!
