🕰️ What would you give up to live forever?

Join us for Theater Thursdays: International Cinémathèque with Guillermo del Toro's directorial debut, CRONOS; a strange, beautiful, blood-soaked fairy tale about an antique dealer, a mysterious device, and the price of immortality. Equal parts monster movie and love story, it's where del Toro's lifelong obsessions with death, decay, and tenderness first took shape on screen.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Family Encanto Night! 🌺🦋 Your smiles, laughter, and energy made the evening truly special.

We are incredibly grateful to all of our generous donors, community partners, special guests, and supporters who helped make this celebration possible. Your generosity allowed us to bring families together to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month through culture, creativity, food, and fun.

A special thank you to for the delicious agua fresca, and to for the beautiful traditional Aztec dance performance — both added so much flavor and spirit to the night! 💃🍹

Most importantly, thank you to our wonderful community for showing up and celebrating with us! 💛

From all of us at the Downey City Library — ¡GRACIAS! 🌸📚🦋
