Do you want to be in Eastman’s Fourth of July Family Parade?

Dodge County Library is partnering with the Lion’s Club and Andrea McCranie, Regent of the Colonel William Few Chapter of NSDAR, for Crossing the Delaware, a special America250 experience for ages 6–13.

Participants will:
• Learn about George Washington’s famous crossing of the Delaware
• Help build a parade float
• Ride in Eastman’s Fourth of July Family Parade on July 4

Workshops: June 22 & 23 • 5 PM
FREE • Registration Required
Register by Sunday, June 21 at 12 PM

UPDATE ON SUMMER FEEDING: in the event of severe weather, for the safety of our staff and patrons, we will be moving our Summer Feeding registration indoors. It will take place in the library’s meeting room at its usual time, from 12-1 PM. Groceries will still need to be picked up outside as usual. Dodge County Library is partnering with the Lion's Club of Eastman and Andrea McCranie, Regent of the Colonel William Few Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), for a special America250 event.

Children ages 6–13 are invited to take part in Crossing the Delaware, a two-day workshop inspired by George Washington’s famous crossing of the Delaware River.

Participants will:
• Learn about the history and significance of the crossing
• Help build a Fourth of July parade float
• Ride in the Fourth of July Family Parade on July 4

Workshop Dates:
June 22 & 23 at 5 PM- 7 PM

Important Information:
• FREE to participate
• Registration required by Sunday, June 21 at 12 PM (Noon)
• Participants are expected to attend both workshop dates and the parade
• Parent/guardian must remain during workshops
• Period costumes will be provided for parade participation and returned after the event
