We’re proud to be part of this important pilot project! Dodge County Library is working with Georgia Southern University’s Institute for Health Logistics & Analytics to help make information, resources, and opioid harm reduction support more accessible in our community.

📚 We are thrilled to be partnering with the Ocmulgee Regional Library System for the pilot phase of our Rural Opioid Harm Reduction for Libraries Project! Through this project, is able to provide library staff with training, support, education, and harm reduction tools. Ultimately, this will create a scalable statewide model that equips public libraries to serve as trusted, stigma-free spaces where community members can access information, naloxone (Narcan) and connections to local harm reduction and recovery services.

A huge thank you to Lee Herron and Steve Burke for bringing the American Revolution to life with their American Revolution Survival Trunk program!

Lee and Steve are both members of the Brier Creek Artillery and Militia “Skunk Brigade” and serve on the Board of Directors for the Brier Creek Revolutionary War Battlefield Association.

We appreciate them sharing their knowledge, artifacts, and enthusiasm for history with our community.
