Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at a cat rescue?

It’s definitely not just cuddling kittens all day… though there is some of that too. 😸

Join us at the Dodge County Library on Thursday, June 4 at 11 AM for a special Storytime with Four Paws and a Tail Rescue! We’ll learn about caring for cats, the importance of spay/neuter, read a fun story together, and yes… cuddle some adorable kitties.

This is a perfect event for animal lovers of all ages!

Just a reminder that our Mid GA Gem and Mineral Society program is coming up Monday, June 1 at 11 AM at the Dodge County Library!

We’ll explore fossils, meteorites, gems, and Georgia’s hidden treasures. Kids will even get goodies and take-home information about where to find rocks and fossils in Georgia.

A huge thank you to Magnolia State Bank for helping us make our Summer Reading Program even more amazing!

They raised over $300 through their fundraiser supporting the Dodge County Library, and then Magnolia State Bank matched those funds, bringing the total donation to an incredible $650!

This generous gift is going to make a real impact on our Summer Reading Program and help us provide fun, engaging experiences for our community. We appreciate Magnolia State Bank and everyone who donated, purchased books, or bought sweet treats to help make this fundraiser a success.

The Dodge County Library will open at 2 PM on Thursday, May 28 as we prepare for our big Summer Reading Kick-Off Party beginning at 4 PM!

Join us for hot dogs, a bounce house, games, activities, and more as we celebrate the start of summer reading together.

Parking for the event will be available at the Peabody Complex, with entry through the double gates behind the Peabody building.

We are excited to kick off our summer feeding program tomorrow!

This program is first come, first served. Vehicles may line up on the library side of the parking lot. Once that area is full, please park at the Peabody Complex behind the library and use the double gates to walk up and register.

Please be mindful of the DA’s parking lot, as they will need access to their spaces throughout the day. For safety reasons, vehicles cannot wait in the roadway, so we ask that you please utilize the overflow parking at the Peabody Complex when needed.

A special thank you to the Peabody Complex for graciously allowing us to use their space to help support this important program for our community.

We appreciate your patience as we work through the best process to make summer meal pickup run as smoothly as possible.

Reminder: The library will be closed until 2 PM tomorrow as we prepare for our big Summer Reading Program kickoff. We look forward to seeing you!
