The El Paso County Veterans Service Office, in partnership with the El Paso VA Health Care System, is pleased to invite you to a FREE community event dedicated to helping Veterans and their families access earned benefits while providing valuable information to help plan for the future.

After classes from 1-4 , attendees will have the opportunity to receive one-on-one assistance with VA disability claims while attending educational presentations from subject matter experts.

Hosted by the El Paso County Veterans Service Office and the El Paso VA Health Care System

This event is designed for veterans, transitioning service members, surviving spouses, caregivers, and military families who want to learn more about the benefits they have earned and how to better prepare themselves and their loved ones for the future.

Whether you need assistance filing a disability claim under the PACT Act, have questions about burial eligibility, or want to better understand survivor benefits, or would like information about property transfers, knowledgeable professionals will be available to assist you.

There is no cost to attend, and all Veterans and their families are encouraged to participate.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this invitation with fellow Veterans, family members, and community organizations. Together, we can ensure that those who served receive the information, resources, and support they deserve.

We honor the victims, the first responders who answered the call, and the families whose lives were forever changed.
Twenty-five years later, we remember their courage, sacrifice and resilience. We will never forget.

Starting September 8 through November 20, 2026, Veterans can receive their flu vaccines (Regular and High-dose for 65+) at the El Paso VA Main Facility and all Community-Based Outpatient Clinics without needing an appointment.

Happy Labor Day from El Paso County!
Today, we recognize the hardworking men and women whose dedication, skill and service help keep our communities moving forward.

From those serving our residents every day to workers across every industry, thank you for the important role you play in making El Paso County a great place to live, work and call home.

In observance, all County administrative office and the Enrqiue Moreno County Courthouse are closed. All operations will resume Tuesday, September 8th.

In observance of Labor Day, Monday, September 7th, All County Administrative offices and the Enrique Moreno County Courthouse will be closed.

El Paso County Commissioners Court will not meet on Monday and will resume County business the following week at their regular session meeting on Monday, September 14 beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Big news for El Paso’s veteran community!

Today, September 3, the Texas Veterans Commission held its Big Check Presentation recognizing grant funding awarded to local programs serving veterans and their families.

El Paso County Veterans Services and the El Paso County Veterans Treatment Court will receive a combined $685,000 to continue providing essential assistance, advocacy, and support to those who served our nation.

We are grateful to the Texas Veterans Commission and the Fund for Veterans’ Assistance for investing in El Paso County veterans. These grants will strengthen critical services and help ensure our veterans and their families receive the support they have earned.
