Reminder that Marshall Street is closed in front of our office. We are still open! The thrift store is open as well, please enter through that door on Cole Street.

Single lane road closure on Marshall Ave between Wells St and Cole St for road construction activities. The eastbound lane will be open, westbound lane will be closed. The construction will take place from 6/16-6/26. This will be a 24/7 single lane road closure.

Our Top Needs Tuesday looks a little different this week.

Usually, we share a list of specific items we’re running low on. But right now, our shelves and warehouse reserves are low across the board, so our biggest need is simply FOOD.

If you have enough to share, we would love to take some off your hands! Every can, box, bag, and pantry staple helps us keep food available for our neighbors in need.

You can drop off at our Food Bank (1720 ½ Wells Street) Monday 8-3, Tuesday or Wednesday 8-Noon. If those times don’t work, just bring it to POM (1806 Cole Street) Monday-Friday 8-3pm.

Our office door and sidewalk on Marshall street is closed while road work is underway next to our building. Anyone coming to POM should enter through the doors at More Pennies From Heaven. If the store door is locked (while the store is closed) please call us and we will let you in 360-825-8961 and press 3.

Summer is here, and as often happens this time of year, donations tend to slow down. But our food bank is continuing to serve families in our community!

Our shelves are starting to look a little lighter, and we'd love your help restocking some of our most-needed items. If you have enough to share, we would be grateful to take some off your hands!

POM’s business office and food bank will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.

We pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in military service for our country.

If you’ve been in lately, you’ve probably noticed signs like these encouraging clients to ask about scholarships for sports, arts, summer camps, and activities for kids of all ages.

We are so grateful to be recipients of the Community Health Improvement Grant from Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, part of CommonSpirit, that has allowed us to offer these scholarships to local families.

As our vision states, we envision a plateau where every person thrives. Access to healthy, enriching opportunities is part of helping kids and families do exactly that!
