We pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in military service for our country.

If you’ve been in lately, you’ve probably noticed signs like these encouraging clients to ask about scholarships for sports, arts, summer camps, and activities for kids of all ages.

We are so grateful to be recipients of the Community Health Improvement Grant from Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, part of CommonSpirit, that has allowed us to offer these scholarships to local families.

As our vision states, we envision a plateau where every person thrives. Access to healthy, enriching opportunities is part of helping kids and families do exactly that!

To apply, please call 360-825-8961 and press 3 for our business office to schedule an appointment.

A huge thank you to our local USPS letter carriers and all of you who participated in this year’s Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive! 📬❤️

So far, we’ve collected 2,083 pounds of food, with 3 more boxes still to weigh! (We will update in the comments when we have a final number!)

This incredible community effort helps keep our Food Bank shelves stocked and allows us to continue supporting local neighbors in need.

We’re so grateful for this amazing annual tradition and for everyone who helped make it possible. Thank you for showing up for our community! 💙

We are very excited to partner with Bicycle Rescue for Youth, and the incredible impact they make for local families by providing bikes and scooters to youth in our community. And right on time for summer!

This is such a wonderful resource, helping kids stay active, build confidence, and experience the simple joy of having a bike of their own.

A quick but important reminder: appointments are required to receive a bike or scooter. Please do not show up without scheduling in advance.

To make an appointment, email Brad at [email protected]

A few important details:
• Recipients must be present
• Limit of 2 bikes per family, per appointment, per month
• Appointments will be held June 8th, and July 13th at the POM Food Bank. Thank you to Calvary Presbyterian for opening your parking lot for these events!
• Be prepared to provide the recipient’s age, height, inseam measurement, and gender

Thank you again to Bicycle Rescue for Youth for partnering with us to help bring health, joy, and opportunity to local kids 💜

As we wrap up our giveBIG campaign day two, we want to say thank you SO much to our incredible community.

Because of this incredibly generous community, we are closing out the campaign with nearly $10,000 raised in less than 48 hours! We know there are additional mailed and offline donations still coming in, we will keep updating the tracker on our website as those trickle in over the next few days =)

We are so grateful to everyone who donated, shared our posts, encouraged others to give, and helped spread the word over the last two days. Every gift helps us continue providing food, support, and assistance for local families right here on the plateau.

It has been really special to watch our community come together in support of our neighbors. Thank you so much for being part of it.

Our donation page will remain open for a couple weeks for anyone who would still like to make a giveBIG gift!
