Daniel Wertz Elementary School Welcome to the Daniel Wertz Elementary page. We are proud of our students, families and community! Daniel Wertz is a Pre- K through 5 school.

We look forward to sharing information about our school including upcoming events, important announcements, pictures and much more! Daniel Wertz is located on the Westside of Evansville. Our school has a rich history and strong bond to the Howell Community. Prominently displayed in the main hallway are memorabilia and class pictures (dating to 1944) that tell the story of Daniel Wertz School. In those photos many faces past and present represent the multi-generations of students who have attended Daniel Wertz and speak to the pride and stability of our neighborhood school. Our students feed into Perry Heights Middle School, progressing on to Reitz High School-home of the mighty panthers! Daniel Wertz also houses Little Panther World, an early childhood education center.

These 2nd grade ladies have made SO much progress in our UFLI group that we just had to celebrate with a little “tea” party! 🫖🩷

The “tea” was actually cotton candy milk, of course! 😋 We practiced our pinkies up, enjoyed our treats, and even ended with a little cheers! ✨

So proud of how hard these girls have been working and Mrs.Smith for loving her students so well! 💕📚
