Join us on September 17 at 2 pm to discuss The Night Watchman by Louise Erdrich. The Night Watchman follows two Chippewa as they navigate the 1950s, with their family, tribe, and politics pulling them in different ways. The book is based on the author's grandfather, who was of the Chippewa tribe and worked as a night watchman at a factory in the 1950s.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library has gifted over 300 million books to kids around the world since its inception in 1995. She helped to markedly improve the literacy rates not just in her home state of Tennessee, but all over the country. In her honor, our library will be showing her hit movie 9 to 5 on September 2, 1:30 pm and Dolly Parton: Here I Am, a biographical documentary about her life, on September 3 at 1:30 pm. Join us in celebrating her legacy!
