On December 11, 2025, WDVFD members alongside BOOTHSVILLE VFD and Baxter VFD Co.2 participated in the Town of White Hall, WV Annual Christmas parade. We extend our gratitude to the organizers for the invitation and appreciate the chance to support local communities

On 10/03/25, a team of four from the WDVFD participated in the Forest Festival Firemens parade in Elkins, where Rescue 13 received the "Best Appearing Rescue" award. This accomplishment represents the fourth notable achievement for the apparatus. We extend our thanks to the Town of Elkins and the Elkins Fire Department for their welcoming hospitality during the event.

We would also like to give a shout out to the other mairon county departments and there awards

Marion County Rescue Squad for the best Appearing ALS unit aswell as longest distance traveled for ems until along with Hotest ambulance in the state

Two WDVFD members participated in the Buckwheat Festival and Fireman's Parade in Kingwood on 9-25-25. Rescue 13 received the 'Best Appearing Rescue' award, judged on appearance and capabilities. This achievement marks the apparatus's fourth award since its introduction a year ago. We would like to thank the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department's invitation, hospitality, and commitment to the event. We also thank the members who invested significant time in developing Rescue 13.
