NAS Fallon was honored to once again be part of National Night Out 2026 last night at Oats Park alongside our friends and neighbors in the City of Fallon!

It was a fantastic evening of community engagement as personnel from our Naval Security Forces, Navy Fire & Emergency Services, Fleet and Family Support Center and NAS Fallon's Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit met with families, answered questions, showcased their capabilities, and strengthened the partnership between the Navy and the community we proudly serve.

Thank you to everyone who came out to make this year's event such a tremendous success. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

‼️MAIN GATE CLOSURE‼️
The NAS Fallon Main Gate will be closing at 0800 hours tomorrow, Saturday July 18th, 2026 for maintenance and repairs. This is for both inbound and outbound traffic. The closure will remain in effect until completion of all work. All traffic both entering and exiting NAS Fallon during this time is to use the South Gate on Berney Rd.

🇺🇸 What an incredible Independence Day celebration! 🇺🇸

Today, the City of Fallon came together in an unforgettable display of patriotism as thousands of residents and visitors lined the streets for the America's 250th Birthday and Fourth of July Parade. The overwhelming community support and sea of red, white, and blue made for an inspiring celebration of our nation's history and the freedoms we cherish.

Naval Air Station Fallon was especially honored to have our Commanding Officer, CAPT Mike Haymon, serve as the Grand Marshal for this year's parade. It was a privilege to join the Fallon community in celebrating 250 years of American independence and recognizing the enduring partnership between NAS Fallon and the City of Fallon.

Thank you to everyone who came out to make today's celebration such an amazing success. The enthusiasm, pride, and unwavering patriotism displayed throughout the day was a true reflection of what makes our community so special.

Today, the NAS Fallon Commissary brought our miltary community together to celebrate America's 250th Birthday with a special cake-cutting ceremony honoring our nation's rich history and enduring spirit.

Thank you to the NAS Fallon Commissary team for hosting this wonderful event and helping bring our community together in celebration of this historic milestone.

Today the NAS Fallon Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Unit (NMRTU) held their annual Corpsman’s Cup. This is a competition that highlights the skill, teamwork, and readiness of our medical professionals.

This event showcases the dedication of our Navy Hospital Corpsmen as they put their training, endurance, and operational knowledge to the test in a challenging and spirited competition. The same skills demonstrated today are the foundation of the medical readiness that supports the Navy and Marine Corps team and their families around the globe.

Events like the Corpsman’s Cup strengthen teamwork, build confidence, and reinforce the importance of staying ready — anytime, anywhere.

Thank you Churchill County Museum. Today's training at NAS Fallon allows the Navy warfighters to sharpen their skills, strengthen operational readiness, and ensure the fleet remains capable, adaptable, and ready to respond wherever needed.

On this day in 1944, Naval Auxiliary Air Station Fallon was commissioned. Originally part of a network intended to repel potential Japanese invasion during WWII, it has grown into the navy’s premiere airwing training facility (and long-since earned full station status). A huge thank you to the Reno Aces for an incredible TOPGUN Night this past Saturday!
Sailors from NAS Fallon and the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC) along with aviators from the TOPGUN school were recognized during a special evening celebrating Naval Aviation and the United States Navy.
From the excitement of the crowd to the unforgettable F/A-18 flyover, the energy throughout the stadium was outstanding. Events like these not only celebrate the proud history of Naval Aviation, but also highlight the continued readiness of today’s U.S. Navy. ⚾✈️🇺🇸
