A huge thank you to the Reno Aces for an incredible TOPGUN Night this past Saturday!
Sailors from NAS Fallon and the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC) along with aviators from the TOPGUN school were recognized during a special evening celebrating Naval Aviation and the United States Navy.
From the excitement of the crowd to the unforgettable F/A-18 flyover, the energy throughout the stadium was outstanding. Events like these not only celebrate the proud history of Naval Aviation, but also highlight the continued readiness of today’s U.S. Navy. ⚾✈️🇺🇸

‼️MAIN GATE CLOSURE‼️
The NAS Fallon Main Gate will be closing at 0800 hours on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 for maintenance and repairs. The closure will remain in effect until completion of all work. All traffic both entering and exiting NAS Fallon during this time is to use the South Gate on Berney Rd.

Yesterday marked a significant milestone for Naval Aviation at NAS Fallon! 🚧✈️

We proudly held a groundbreaking ceremony for our brand-new, state-of-the-art hangar. This critical infrastructure upgrade will directly support the fleet's readiness, while further advancing NAS Fallon's importance to the Navy's operational capability.

As the premier tactical air warfare training center, NAS Fallon is continuously evolving to equip our warfighters with the facilities they need to maintain air superiority and meet the demands of the mission.

NEW VISITOR CONTROL CENTER HOURS

Effective on Monday, February 23rd, 2026 and until further notice, the new hours for the Visitor Control Center (Pass and ID) are as follows:

Monday-Friday 6:45 AM - 3:45 PM
Closed weekends and holidays.

Snow may be falling in Northern Nevada, but the mission mindset at Naval Air Station Fallon never takes a snow day! ❄️✈️
With winter storms rolling through the area, our aircrews would love to be up in the skies doing what they do best — training, flying, and sharpening the edge of naval aviation. Unfortunately, Mother Nature has other plans for now. Safety always comes first, and when conditions aren’t right, we keep our aircraft on deck.

While the runways may be quiet, our Sailors and civilian teammates are hard at work behind the scenes clearing snow, maintaining aircraft, and ensuring we’re ready to launch the moment the weather breaks.
Northern Nevada weather may slow us down… but it never stops the mission.
