🎓 Scholarship Opportunity for Meade Senior High Students! 🎓

The Gloria J. Redmiles Meade Senior High PTSA Scholarship is now open for applications! This scholarship is available to graduating seniors who plan to continue their education and are working toward their future goals.

Eligibility requirements:
✔ Graduating senior at Meade High School
✔ Plan to attend an institution of higher learning
✔ Minimum GPA of 3.0 (grades 9–12)
✔ Recommendation letter from school personnel
✔ 300-word essay on your educational plans, career goals, and what inspires you
✔ Must not currently receive the Positive Impact Scholarship

Meade Families, are you ready to battle it out during our Family Game Night event on Friday, April 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
This event will feature various games such as classic board games, card games, and some fun ways to win prizes. Come Friday night without worrying what's for dinner....dinner is on us.

Meade Senior High PTSA is proud to announce the Positive Impact Scholarship, designed to support graduating seniors who are taking the next step toward college or a skilled trade.

🗓 Application Deadline: February 20, 2026

Eligibility Requirements:
• Graduating senior of Meade High School
• Reside in one of the following zip codes: 21060, 21061, 21113, 21144, 21225, 20724, 21122, or 20755
• Admitted or actively planning to attend Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) or an accredited trade school
• GPA between 2.75 and 3.0
• Letter of recommendation from a school staff member
• Willingness to co-lead planning of the 2026 Senior Parade
• Completion of at least four one-on-one mentorship sessions focused on college admissions, financial aid, and course registration prior to graduation
• Submit a 300-word essay responding to:
• What would this scholarship mean to you personally and academically?
• How will assisting with Senior Parade planning benefit your skills, experience, or future goals?

AACPS STATUS 12/5/25: All schools opening 2 hours late.

5:15 a.m., 12/5/25: Due to inclement weather and anticipated hazardous road conditions in parts of the county, all Anne Arundel County Public Schools will open two hours late today. There will be no morning half-day ECSE classes, and no morning sessions at the Centers of Applied Technology North or South. A reassessment of conditions will take place this morning and any changes to this status will be announced by 7:30 a.m. today.
