Firetrucks 🚒, pumpkins 🎃, and prizes 🏆-- oh my! VTFD's Public Safety Day is going to be a scary good time!

To help make this an event that every ghoul and goblin would love, we are in search of:

☑ community organizations with a public safety or awareness message
☑ vehicles to be part of a Touch-a-Truck experience
☑ event sponsors

Thank you to our NineStar Connect volunteers for assembling 15 arches for the Gardens of Vernon Township! They look wonderful and will be helpful in expanding our gardening space upward! We continue to harvest for the FARM - Fortville Area Resource Mission food pantry as the growing season comes to an end for the year.

Thank you to our generous community for helping the many flood victims! You stepped forward with donations of needed items (food, cleaning supplies, carpet, baby items etc) and with generous cash contributions. We got a thank you letter today from Wayne County Foundation (Cares Fund). The Cares Fund monies were matched! Again thank you!
