We are excited to officially be a permanent donation location for the Chrysalis Place food pantry! This month they are collecting toiletries and/or whatever you feel inspired to donate to help provide for our local community. You can drop off any time we are open - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 10-5, Thursday and Friday from 10-6, and Sunday from 10-4. Thank you!

Summer is still here but Swine & Stein Brewfest, October 10th isn't far away!

We have an awesome lineup of local craft beverage makers that will be serving up beer, cider, mead, wine and non-alcoholic drinks.

We can't wait to see everyone on the street for drinks, live music, games, contetsts and more!

We’re proud to celebrate the incredible individuals who make Kennebec County a stronger, more caring community.

Today’s Community Hero is Dave Dostie, who works for the State of Maine and owns his own photography business.

Dave generously uses his photography talents to capture the spirit of our community. From local events and gatherings to nonprofit initiatives and celebrations, he consistently gives his time and creative expertise to help tell the stories of the people and organizations making a difference across the region.

United Way of Kennebec Valley has experienced his generosity firsthand. Dave donated his time and skills to photograph our 2023 Live United photoshoot and 2025 Unignorable Campaign, helping us share the stories behind our mission and the people we serve.
