Germantown Police Department Serving the citizens of the City of Germantown Tennessee since 1955. Anyone with information about The Germantown Police Department is a professional, progressive law enforcement organization committed to serving the citizens of Germantown.

Comprised of 99 full time officers and 22 full time public safety dispatchers, the department is supported by full time civilian administrative staff and benefits from outstanding community support and civic involvement. This is evident by the dedicated volunteers that make up the reserve officer corps and the alumni of our Citizen Police Academy program.

Germantown Police are seeking assistance in locating Mr. Cody Howard. Mr. Howard is 25 years old and was last seen at his residence on Pine Valley Lane around 11:30am on Monday November 8, 2021. Mr. Howard was reportedly wearing "mossy oak" pants and an unknown color t-shirt. Mr. Howard's family is concerned for his safety as his whereabouts are unknown and he has not yet returned home. Deputy Chief Bright had the honor of providing ceremonial remarks at today's graduation of the 43rd Regional / 23rd Lateral Police Academy conducted by the Memphis Police Department. He was also there to congratulate our most recent graduates, Officers Jesse Adkins, John Everett, Michael Lavoie, Robert Lofton, and Lauren Nelson. In addition to completing the Academy, Officers Adkins earned the class award for Physical Training and Officer Everett earned the Top Shooter Award.
