📢 City of Glendive Water Department Notice

The City of Glendive is aware that this month’s water bills were mailed later than usual, and many customers have not yet received them.

If you would like to make a payment before your bill arrives, please stop by City Hall. Our staff will be happy to look up your account and assist you with your payment.

If you prefer to wait until your bill arrives in the mail, that is perfectly fine.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

☀️ Pool Closure Notice – Saturday, July 25 ☀️
Due to the forecasted extreme heat, the pool will be closed on Saturday, July 25.
The health and safety of our staff and patrons is our top priority. With the expected high temperatures, we have made the difficult decision to close for the day to help ensure everyone’s well-being.
We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience. Please stay cool, stay hydrated, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back soon!

GLENDIVE LANDFILL

Due to another fire, the demolition and tree disposal area will be closed Friday and Saturday while crews continue working the site, monitoring for hot spots, and ensuring the area is safe.

All other landfill operations will remain open as normal.

We will provide an update before the start of next week regarding reopening. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

NOTICE – GLENDIVE LANDFILL

Due to a fire last night in the demolition disposal area, the Class 4 area of the landfill will be closed for the next couple of days while crews continue monitoring and working the site for remaining hot spots and safety concerns.
The Class 4 area includes demolition and construction debris such as lumber, sheetrock, shingles, concrete, and other demolition materials. Fires in these materials can continue to smolder underground and may reignite even after the visible fire is out.

The Class 2 HOUSEHOLD garbage area WILL REMAIN OPEN and normal residential garbage disposal operations will continue as usual.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while staff work to keep the site safe for both the public and landfill employees. Updates will be provided as needed.

🚨 WATER MAIN BREAK ALERT 🚨

Due to a water main break on the southeast corner of Snyder and south Sargent, our City crew will be working late into the evening to complete repairs. Water service may be unavailable for an extended period of time in the affected areas.

The attached map highlights in red the areas that may experience water shutoffs during this time.
