The Glendive Police Department extends its sincere appreciation to the Helena Police Department and the City of Helena for helping transfer one of Helena’s used patrol vehicles to our department.

The vehicle has already served the Helena community, but it remains capable of continuing its public-service life as a patrol vehicle in Glendive. This allows an existing public resource to remain in service while helping address an important need within our fleet.

This partnership grew from relationships formed at law enforcement trainings, where Chief Katie Mills and Assistant Chief Joshua Jonas connected with Helena Police Chief Brett Petty and Assistant Chief Jayson Zanders. After learning of our department’s vehicle needs, Helena Police and the City of Helena worked together to make this transfer possible.

Montana has a unique bond. Whether on the eastern or western side of the state, our communities and public-safety agencies understand the importance of supporting one another. We are grateful to Chief Petty, Assistant Chief Zanders, the Helena Police Department, and the City of Helena for extending that support to Glendive.
