For day 3 of our Youth Academy we toured the Worcester County House of Corrections. Cadets learned about the roles of corrections officers and the services offered to inmates by the Worcester County Sherriffโ€™s Office. During the afternoon, cadets enjoyed โ€œride-alongsโ€ through several obstacles officers learn to navigate through the Emergency Vehicle Operations Course in the Police Academy.

๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ International Overdose Awareness Vigil ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ

Join us as a community on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 5:00โ€“8:00 PM on the Grafton Town Common for an evening of remembrance, hope, and healing.

Overdose has touched so many lives in our community. This vigil is a chance to come together, honor those we've lost, support those still struggling, and celebrate the resilience of individuals and families in recovery.

Bring your family, friends, and neighbors. There will be space to reflect, share, and connect, because no one should face this alone.

๐Ÿ’œ Hope. Healing. Resilience. ๐Ÿ’œ

All are welcome.

Please join us in welcoming Officer Tanner Crue to the Grafton Police Department!

Officer Crue graduated this past Friday from the 22-week 6th MPTC Holyoke Recruit Officer Course, having successfully completed the rigorous training required to become a certified Massachusetts police officer.

Tanner's journey with our department began as a 911 dispatcher, where he quickly distinguished himself with his professionalism, work ethic, and dedication. These qualities that made him a strong candidate for a sworn position with our agency.

Officer Crue will now begin a 14-week Field Training Program, during which he will be mentored by our certified Field Training Staff as he transitions from the classroom to the streets of Grafton.

We are proud to welcome Officer Crue into this next chapter of his career. Grafton is a community built on trust, service, and connection, and we're confident he will represent that spirit well as he serves and protects our residents.

Please take the opportunity to introduce yourself when you see Officer Crue out and about Town. Congratulations, Officer Crue. Welcome to the Grafton Police Department family!
