Established in 1998, MISSION GRANBURY is Hood County's largest non-profit organization with a unique service model that includes multiple interrelated human service programs under one umbrella. Through strong collaboration with other local organizations and a wide range of resources, Mission Granbury is the community hub for help, centralizing resources under one roof to help those in need or in crisis. Above all, we strive to treat each person and family with dignity and respect, assessing every individual situation and providing immediate and long term assistance to move them to self-sufficiency.

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. John A. Giusti, who left us far too soon.

John and his family have long held a special place in the heart of Mission Granbury. He was a wonderful community partner, a compassionate chiropractor, a devoted family man, and a treasured friend. His kindness, generosity, and genuine care for others touched countless lives and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

In lieu of flowers, John’s family has kindly requested that memorial donations be made to Mission Granbury in his honor. Each gift will serve as a meaningful tribute to a remarkable man whose life was defined by compassion, service, friendship, and love.

Mission Granbury was proud to sponsor last Friday’s Rise & Grind! ☕💚

We had a wonderful time connecting with community members, officially rolling out our new Mission Market, and raising awareness about food insecurity right here in Hood County.

Mission Market represents a fresh, more welcoming approach to providing food assistance—one centered on dignity, choice, and care for our neighbors. Thank you to everyone who joined us, asked questions, and shared in our excitement about this next chapter!

Together, we can ensure that no one in our community has to face hunger alone.
