WOODVIEW STAFF: ALL IN, ALL THE WAY! 🦉

What better way to end an incredible Fun Run than with a STAFF RELAY RACE?! Our teachers, assistants, and staff members took to the track while ALL of our students came out to cheer them on. The excitement, the laughs, and the questionable running techniques made it the perfect ending to an amazing day!

Our staff will always go above and beyond for our students, in and out of the classroom. Today, they proved that includes embarrassing themselves in front of the entire school for the sake of a good time.

The good news: No one was hurt! The bad news: Tomorrow’s attendance may depend on whether everyone can still walk. We’re accepting bets on how many staff members will be calling in with “Fun Run injuries.” (We’re kidding… mostly!)

A huge congratulations to our staff for bringing the fun, showing our students what school spirit looks like, and making memories right alongside them. Woodview is lucky to have a team that will run, race, dance, and occasionally question their life choices for our owls!

Happy Bosses Day to our amazing principals!

Thank you for keeping our school running, our staff somewhat sane, and our owls flying in the right direction!! We know your job involves approximately 47 emergencies before lunch, a million decisions, and occasionally wondering what exactly is happening in the hallway.

Behind all the meetings, problem solving, and putting out fires, you lead with heart, support our staff, and always put our students first.

We are so grateful for everything you do for Woodview. We hope today brought you a little less chaos, a lot more appreciation, and even cookies!

Happy Bosses Day! We’re lucky to have you leading our parliament! 🦉

A HUGE thank you to our amazing Woodview PTO for providing dinner for our staff during conferences! Between meeting with families, answering questions, and surviving the conference marathon, having a delicious meal waiting for us was SO appreciated!

We all know an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but a catered dinner gets us through conferences!

Thank you for taking care of our staff and making sure we’re fueled up and ready to keep showing up for our Woodview Owls. We appreciate you more than you know!

CONFERENCES ARE HERE!

Just a friendly reminder that parent-teacher conferences are TODAY and TOMORROW! We can’t wait to see all of our Woodview families!

While you’re here, make sure you stop by the Book Fair in the gym and grab a few books. Because apparently, we can never have too many books… right? 😉

And PLEASE take a peek at the Lost & Found while you’re here. We are only 7 WEEKS into school and somehow we already have TWO FULL RACKS of lost belongings. TWO.
At this rate, by January we’re going to need a second building just for sweatshirts and water bottles.

Happy Custodian Appreciation Day!

Today we’re celebrating the people who keep Woodview running, looking good, and, most importantly, taking care of our Owls!

Our custodians do SO much more than empty trash cans and keep the floors clean. They fix what we break, clean up what we spill, keep things running, and somehow survive the daily chaos that comes with taking care of hundreds of elementary school kiddos!

A shoutout to Mr. Tim, who isn’t pictured today because he’s home sick. We’ll be saving his celebration until he’s back and feeling better!

We appreciate you more than you know!

And let’s be honest… if the custodians ever go on strike, we’re all in trouble!
