Tomorrow starts the 4-day virtual PA EMS Conference. For only $10, you get full access, and if you don't catch the trainings live, you have until November 30, 2026, to watch them and get the CEUs.

For nearly half a century, PEHSC has worked in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Health to provide high-quality and accessible EMS continuing education.  Since 2020, our virtual conferences have been able to reach thousands of EMS providers across Pennsylvania and beyond.

This Saturday one of our Mutual Aid Departments are having there annual Sportsman Raffle. There are still tickets available. Due to Facebook policies the list of prizes can’t be posted but if you’re curious send them a message and they would be happy to assist. Tickets are $20 and that gives you a chance to win one of ten prizes on the ticket. The ticket also gets you free food and beer. There will be additional walk around prizes, 50/50 and basket prizes. If you want to come to the event and just eat and try to win a walk around or 50/50 entry will be $10.

Doors open at 3 and calling begins at 4! Tickets are still available, and your $20 donation gets you a chance to win one of ten “FUN” 😉 ticket prizes, your dinner and beverages! There will be other raffles and a 50/50 the day of the event!

Today is the Tunnel to Towers 5K. Members of the Department will be there honoring the fallen and those who are participating. We hope everyone attending has a great time. Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk Pike County, PA

Last night, Station 23, joined byForest Volunteer Fire Department Lackawaxen Township Fire Department, Central Volunteer Fire Department, Shohola Fire & Rescue, Blooming Grove Twp. Volunteer Fire Department No. 1, and along with Lackawaxen Township EMS , conducted a search and rescue drill involving an “injured hunter” in the woods with no exact location provided.

Crews worked together to search for and locate the patient. Station 81 utilized their drone to locate the injured hunter and obtain GPS coordinates, which were then relayed to personnel on the ground. Crews navigated to the patient’s location, packaged the patient, and carried them out of the woods to complete the drill.

Thank you to all of the departments and personnel who participated and helped make this a successful multi-agency training!
