Congratulations to Sgt. Baird, Officer Curtis, and Officer Cartagena on successfully completing this year’s Ben to the Shore Bike Tour!

The Ben to the Shore Bike Tour is a 65-mile ride from Philadelphia to Atlantic City that raises funds to provide critical financial assistance to the families of fallen and critically injured first responders. The event also helps build positive relationships between law enforcement officers and the children in the communities they proudly serve.

We are incredibly proud of our officers for taking on this challenge in support of such an outstanding cause. Thank you for representing the Marlborough Township Police Department with dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving others—both on and off duty.

Great job, gentlemen!

Congratulations to Sergeant Harold “Ted” Baird!

The Marlborough Township Police Department is proud to announce that Sergeant Harold “Ted” Baird graduated from the Mid-Atlantic Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar (MALEEDS) on June 12, 2026, at Princeton University.

MALEEDS is one of the nation’s premier and most selective law enforcement leadership programs, providing advanced executive leadership training for police chiefs and law enforcement executives. This year’s program brought together 73 law enforcement leaders from New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania for an intensive experience focused on leadership development, professional growth, and networking.

The program is proudly co-sponsored by the Newark, New York, and Philadelphia Divisions of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Upon successful completion of MALEEDS, graduates become members of the FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (FBI-LEEDA), gaining access to ongoing leadership training opportunities and an annual professional development conference.

Sergeant Baird’s successful completion of this prestigious program reflects his commitment to professional excellence, leadership development, and the continued advancement of law enforcement service. His achievement brings valuable leadership experience and training back to the Marlborough Township Police Department and the community we proudly serve.

Please join the Marlborough Township Police Department in congratulating Sergeant Harold “Ted” Baird on this outstanding achievement and dedication to the law enforcement profession
