Keep your home cooler and your A/C working more efficiently with these easy tips:

🪟 Close blinds and curtains during the day.
🌙 Open windows and turn off the A/C on cooler nights.
🌀 Use ceiling fans only when you're in the room.
🍽️ Use the oven and dryer during cooler parts of the day.

THROWBACK THURSDAY!

🛖 The historic 1815-era log house in Groveport’s Heritage Park received a major restoration in 1995–1996.

🪵 Originally moved from the corner of Main and Madison streets in 1974 (current site of the Post Office), the home's detached rear kitchen was reunited with the main structure during the renovation. The building was also carefully disassembled and rebuilt to strengthen it for future generations.

👷 A porch was added to the east side, and modern plumbing was installed, allowing the log house to host a variety of community events and activities.

📜 Today, it stands as a reminder of Groveport’s early history and the community’s commitment to preserving it.
