🔨 Building partnerships, one project at a time!

The U.S. Navy Seabees recently completed a new protective cover (awning) for the College of Micronesia - FSM (OFFICIAL)'s electrical panels. Without proper protection, these electrical panels are easily damaged by rain and harsh conditions.

Over two weeks, the designed and built a stronger, more durable cover to keep the equipment safe and working properly for years to come. This project helps ensure students and faculty have reliable electricity for their classrooms and facilities.

We're honored to support our partners and invest in education infrastructure across FSM!

Our Seabees on DET Pohnpei participated in an ANZAC Day ceremony this past weekend with their Australian counterparts.

Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia, and New Zealand that commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Marvin G. Shields remains the only Navy Seabee to earn the Medal of Honor.

During a massive 1965 ambush in Vietnam, he fought through multiple shrapnel wounds to destroy an enemy machine gun nest with a rocket launcher saving his brothers.
