Naval Construction Battalion 27 Seabees began construction of an Arctic Bee Hut at Keflavik Air Base 🇮🇸, positioning and aligning precast concrete footers that will support the expeditionary structure.

Building Partnerships Below the Surface 🌊⚓

U.S. Navy Seabee divers assigned to Underwater Construction Team TWO, conducted surface-supplied diving and salvage operations alongside Ukrainian Navy divers during exercise Sea Breeze 26-2 in Liepāja, Latvia 🇱🇻

Sea Breeze is an annual multinational exercise co-sponsored by U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet and Marine Corps Forces Europe-Africa, focused on improving cooperation, integration and command and control among Allied and partner forces ⚓️

⭐️ Sailor Spotlight | EO1 Brandon DeGroat 🚜

Congratulations to U.S. Navy Equipment Operator 1st Class Brandon DeGroat, recently selected as the 22nd Naval Construction Regiment Sailor of the Quarter!

Whether coordinating maintenance, inspecting systems or putting heavy construction equipment through its paces, DeGroat plays an important role in keeping the regiment ready. He recently conducted operational checks and tested equipment functions at Naval Station Rota, Spain in preparation for Exercise Northern Viking 26, helping ensure each piece is safe, reliable and ready to support the mission ⚓️

Adm. George Wikoff, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet, recently visited U.S. Navy Seabee divers assigned to Underwater Construction Team ONE, during ongoing dive operations in Tallinn, Estonia 🇪🇪

Deployed under 22nd Naval Construction Regiment, UCT 1 divers showcased their expeditionary capabilities, executing underwater construction, inspection, and salvage operations in support of maritime readiness and regional security 🌍
