Learn how to use Reiki energy techniques on yourself to reduce stress, quiet your nervous system, and reconnect with your body. This hands-on workshop will leave you with simple daily practices you can use long after you leave the room.

📅 Thursday, June 25th from 6:00–7:30pm | for adults & teens 16+

No experience necessary. Participants are highly encouraged to bring a yoga mat, blanket, and water to the program. Registration is required, so visit hansonlibrary.org/calendar to sign up today!

🌻 SUMMER READING CHALLENGE starts Friday, June 26th!

👧 Children (Ages 0–12)
Pick up a reading tracker at the circulation desk! Tell us how many minutes you read each week to enter our weekly raffle drawings. Color in a picture for every 15 minutes you spend reading — and when you color in a full page, bring it in to add a piece to our Community Garden board and be entered in that week's prize drawing!

Teens (Ages 13-18) & Adults
Read any book of your choice, then stop by the circulation desk to pick up a raffle ticket for each book you finish. Fill out your ticket and drop it in the raffle box for the prize of your choice. The more books you read, the more chances you have to win! Prize drawings will be held at the end of the summer.

Yesterday our library team visited All American Assisted Living for a community outreach visit, and it was such a joy! One of our regular patrons dove right into a good book using a brand-new bookmark, handcrafted by students at Indian Head Elementary School. A little art, a little literacy, and a whole lot of community connection across generations. This is why we do what we do. 💙

We spent a beautiful morning exploring with local naturalist Steve French on our latest guided Nature Walk back in May, and it did not disappoint. From hidden wetland details to the sounds of the season, Steve has a way of making you see a familiar landscape with totally new eyes.
