Join us for a heartfelt afternoon of creativity! We're thrilled to welcome back Senior Greetings on Thursday June 11th for a 4th of July card-making event.

This event is open to anyone ages 10 and up — kids, teens, and adults all welcome! All supplies will be provided. Come help us spread some patriotic holiday cheer to local seniors.

🐦 Introduction to Birds & Birdwatching — A Two-Part Event!

We're teaming up with local naturalist Steve French for a special two-part program perfect for beginners and curious nature lovers alike. Whether you've always wanted to learn birdwatching or just want to finally figure out what that bird in your backyard is, this one's for you!

🎤 Part 1: Presentation
📅 Thursday, May 28th | 6:00 PM
📍 Hanson Public Library
Discover what makes birds unique, learn the basics of species identification, and explore how to use field guides and apps like Merlin. We'll cover birds you already know, and help you put a name to the ones you've spotted but couldn't quite place!

🌿 Part 2: Field Program
📅 Saturday, May 30th | 9:00 AM
📍 Alton Smith Reserve, Hanson (near 368 Indian Head Street)
Put your new skills to the test! Walk trails through retired cranberry bogs with views out to Indian Head Pond. Bring binoculars and any field guide or app you'd like to try. Wear sturdy footwear and consider bringing insect repellent.

Join us on June 4th for The Coffeehouse: Songs, Stories & History, an evening celebrating the iconic coffeehouse music scene of the 1960s and 70s.

Andrew Lewis and Margaret Ferri bring their award-winning program to life, performing songs and sharing stories from the singer-songwriters whose music helped spark a cultural revolution. Settle in for a relaxed, intimate evening of music that shaped a generation.

Share with someone who loves a good song and a great story. 🎵✨
