Recruit, Train & Support the body of Christ to provide a future and hope for children in foster care. It's a crisis shortage!

Mobilizing the Christian community to provide a future
and a hope to children in Arkansas foster care. There are about 3,500 children in the Arkansas State Foster Care System at any given time. These children come into state custody through no fault of their own - it is because of abuse, neglect, or some other safety concern in the home. For instance, there are about 7,000 children in foster care in Arkansas within a year, and there are only about 1,100 foster families available to care for those children! Plus, there are over 500 children available for adoption through foster care in our state. It's time for the Body of Christ to step up and meet the needs of these children in our own neighborhoods. We are asking you, if you are called, to care for one of these precious children through foster care, adoption, respite care, or volunteering in some way.

Prep freezer meals on your own, gather a few friends for a meal-prep day, or get your small group involved. Having meals ready to pull from the freezer can take one thing off a family’s plate during an already full season.

We are so grateful to Woodmen Life for giving our Support Center a much-needed fresh coat of paint and changing our outlets! They worked hard and helped make our space look fresh and easier to clean! They also presented us with a grant for new playground equipment.

Love being behind the camera? Your creative giftings can serve children and families impacted by foster care!

Throughout the year, The CALL hosts events designed to encourage and support local foster families. Volunteer photographers can help us capture those moments, or donate a family photo session to give a foster family memories they can hold onto for years to come.

Foster care is local missions, and Fellowship Bible Church put that into action through their statewide Foster Care Initiative!

Fellowship’s congregations collected and packed thoughtfully chosen gifts for every foster family, child in care, and DCFS worker across the state. This past Saturday, Fellowship volunteers delivered those packs to local distribution sites, where many foster and provisional families also enjoyed games, connection, and community.

We are grateful to have joined the Arkansas Division of Children and Family Services and fellow foster care partners in this effort, with many of our Support Centers serving as host sites. Together, we had the opportunity to remind each individual affected by foster care that they are covered in God’s love and grace.

Church partnerships are at the heart of what we do. We believe the church is uniquely positioned to care for children in foster care, build supportive communities around foster families, and call individuals and families to open their homes to vulnerable children and teens.

Thank you, Fellowship Bible Church for your heart to serve, your hospitality, and your incredible generosity. From each thoughtfully chosen gift to every volunteer who showed up, you helped make God’s love tangible in communities across Arkansas.
